At Travella, we're committed to creating a platform where everyone feels welcome, respected, and treated with dignity. Discrimination has no place in our community, and we expect all users to uphold these principles when interacting with others on our platform.
This policy explains our expectations for inclusive behavior and the consequences of discrimination on Travella.

What Constitutes Discrimination?
Discrimination can take many forms. On Travella, discriminatory behavior includes, but is not limited to:
For Hosts
- Declining to rent to a guest based on any protected characteristic

For All Users

- Harassment based on protected characteristics
- Making derogatory or demeaning comments related to protected characteristics
- Encouraging others to discriminate
Legally Permitted Distinctions
In some cases, distinctions that might otherwise appear discriminatory may be legally permitted. These include:
- Age requirements for vehicle rental (typically 21 years or older), as permitted by law and insurance requirements
- Valid driver's license and driving record requirements that apply equally to all users
- Reasonable accommodation policies for guests with disabilities
- Objectively applied security or verification requirements
Note: Even when making legally permitted distinctions, these requirements must be applied consistently to all users without regard to protected characteristics, and must comply with applicable laws.
Recognizing Bias
We recognize that bias can be both conscious and unconscious. We encourage all community members to:
- Reflect on decisions to ensure they are based on objective criteria rather than stereotypes or preconceptions
- Apply the same standards and policies to all users regardless of their background or identity
- Focus evaluations on relevant factors such as reviews, verification, and adherence to platform policies
- Make decisions based on individual behavior and qualifications rather than group stereotypes
- Consider how your words and actions might be perceived by others from different backgrounds
Our Expectations
All users of Travella are expected to:
- Treat all community members with respect and dignity
- Make decisions about hosting, renting, and interactions based on objective factors rather than protected characteristics
- Communicate in a respectful manner free from discriminatory language or bias
- Report any observed discrimination on the platform
- Comply with all applicable anti-discrimination laws and regulations

We take reports of discrimination seriously and will investigate alleged violations of this policy. Consequences for violating our nondiscrimination policy may include:
- Removal of discriminatory content
- Educational interventions and warnings

- Permanent removal from the Travella community
- Other actions as appropriate to the specific violation
In addition to Prodev Innovations Limited's enforcement, users who discriminate may also be subject to legal consequences under applicable civil rights and anti-discrimination laws in their jurisdiction.
